I'm often drawn to imagery that has long appeared in Native life and art across different communities — buffalo, horses, tipis, feathers, open land, the sky and strong geometric patterns.
These images don't mean exactly the same thing to every tribe. For me, they bring to mind home, family, strength, resilience and connection to the land.
